Box 'RG-25' - Twinwall Tapered Collector Fluebox with 23mm walls for Rigid Flue Systems Our Box 'RG-25' is a twinwall gas flue box with a 23mm cavity between its walls giving an overall wall thickness of 25mm that incorporates a collector strip at the top of the fire box to aid fume capture and is ideal for fires that have a top primary flue outlet. It comes as standard with a twinwall base and a choice of collar to suit either Selkirk 'IL' or Ritevent 'B-Vent' 125mm (5") twinwall flue systems. All our flue boxes are manufactured to BS715 2005 and suitable for fires complying with BS 7977-1 2002 Please note that due to the added collector canopy this flue box is taller than our standard flue boxes. It is designed to be fitted prior to a fireplace installation and is designed to accept deep inset gas fires. The tapered design of this box will suit most inset fires and reduce the amount of masonry removal making for an easier installation and reduces the fire catchment space volume. It also incorporates wire fixing tabs at the rear for use with fires that have wire fixings. All our flue boxes and components are designed by our own Gas Safe and Hetas registered installers with a combined experience of over 70 years and who use these boxes themselves every day.
